N.T.H. Talent

Theatre-LOGO.png

Theatrical Performers have speaking lines, singing lines, and heavy choreography to memorize, for which there are daily rehearsals. With all work culminating in an annual Awards Festival.

Unlike screen-acting, mistakes made during a live theatre-show, cannot be “fixed” in editing at a later time. As such, performing in front of a live audience, daily, is quite the learning-curve for screen-actors. And, since theatre-acting is pursued for love of the craft – especially due to the significant pay-cut compared to screen-acting, the Grand Stage is an absolutely fantastic way for Actors to stretch themselves, in order to hone their performance-skills, and grow as an Artiste.

Theatre-life, for Performers, and BTS (Behind-the-Scenes) Crews, alike, is one of near-constant travel. As such, all biennial N.T.H. Smart-Contracts emphasize the need for Talent to be comfortable living ‘out-of-a-suitcase.’ Each N.T.H. location has one (1) Staple Production – the, perpetually-revived, annually-traveling, show, for which the location is known around the world, and in which, new performers get a chance to debut.

Also, there are two (2) other Seasonal Productions, which will debut at the location during the half of the year when the staple show is in rehearsals, and run for the remainder of the year, at the location, for ten (10) months, traveling to one (1) new location per year, for the remaining two (2) months. Seasonal Productions are dependent on turn-out, and Viewer-Votes, to be renewed beyond their debut.

To ensure seamless interaction across borders, all N.T.H. Talent must speak, comprehend, read, and write, FLUENT English. If English is not the national language of your country, then Talent must speak, comprehend, read, and write, their native language in addition to being fluent in the English language. Aside from the travel-component, all Newbie Web-FILMS, and Newbie Web-TV,  RULES for Performers, and all who will be directly, or indirectly, working with Performers, apply at N.T.H.

Punctual & Prepared:

Theatre-life is one of perpetual travel, and time is money. As such, N.T.H. Talent must always be on-time, especially for travel. As it pertains to travel, Talent are expected to be mentally prepared for the journey ahead, and physically packed, according to previously-provided travel specifications (i.e.: travel documents are valid, and on-person; person is within the allowed number of luggage pieces; each luggage piece is within the allowed weight, etc.). One (1) person’s tardiness, and/or un-preparedness, can delay travel-departure for an entire production - which is a ‘breach of contract’, and will result in the Talent’s near-immediate dismissal from the production.
