Welcome to Newbie-TV!

Some of the shows on Newbie Web-TV are cross-over programs from Romantica Web-TV, in which case all explicit scenes, and images, will be edited-out before airing on Newbie Web-TV. Both Web-TV Station Programs feature original music, found in the Newbie Web-Radio Music Store.

Newbie (Tot-2-Teen) T2 Web-TV shows have Casts that are part of the ‘Performing Arts’ Programs at various Network Education Facilities around the globe.

WEB-TV Overview

The currency of Newbie Web-TV is the Stoken ($t.) (click link for more info). Both Newbie, and Romantica, Web-TV, costs one point five stokens (1.5$t.) per day, for each individual Web-TV subscription, or two stokens (2$t.)
per day, for a joint-subscription to both Web-TV Stations. Newbie T2 Web-TV costs point seven-five stokens (0.75$t.) per day.
As viewers only pay on days they wish to watch, after sign-up, Subscribers to all Web-TV Stations must click ‘Pay-to-Watch’ the first time they log-in, each day. Daily payment is deducted from pre-paid, and pre-loaded, stokens ($t.), in a Digital Wallet.
Newbie Web-TV airs regularly-scheduled programs, at specific program times, at the same set-time, all across the globe.
For example: Two subscribers are fans of the same web-TV Show, which airs at 8pm. The first subscriber, who lives in the Eastern Standard Time-zone (ET) watches the web-TV Show at 8pm – their time, while the second subscriber, who lives in the Pacific Standard Time-zone (PT), will also watch the Web-TV Show at 8pm in their time zone - which will be three (3) hours after it aired in the Eastern Standard Time-zone of the first subscriber.

Commercial-FREE:
Once paid-advertisers are permitted on Newbie Web-TV, the station becomes a slave to said advertisers. As such, there are no commercials on Newbie Web-TV, and especially not during Web-TV Programs. Instead, in between the time when one Web-TV Show ends, and another Web-TV Show begins, Newbie Web-TV features Web-TV, and Web-Film, promos, and trailers.
In the same window as the Web-TV Player, while the shows are playing, there is a, collapsible, Fan Forum loaded to one side of the page – viewers can choose to “Hide Fan Forum” – which allows those watching, to be able to comment, in real time, while the show is playing. There is also a Search Bar, at the top, to allow viewers to search for programs by title.

Additionally, there are the options to: HOST-Watch Party; and JOIN-Watch Party, which connects subscribers via their own, also collapsible, camera, and microphone-enabled, private Party Chat window, while the show is playing.

At the bottom of the Newbie Web-TV Player, there is a “Guide” button. When clicked, the Guide button opens a, collapsible, Program Guide. Also, from the Program Guide, viewers can click on upcoming Show-Episodes, in order to set up Program Pings, which are alerts that make ‘ping’ sounds, when they pop up five (5) minutes before the Web-TV Show’s scheduled air-time.

Talent
Actors alone do not an industry make. As such, Newbie Productions Inc. is comprised of multi-skilled individuals, who share their talents in many ways, on, and off-camera, and many do so across multiple departments. Such as: Medical (with our own medical facility on-site, there is every position from lab-technicians to psychiatrists); Security; Culinary Staff (there is a commercial kitchen on-site); Wardrobe & Costume Design; Hair/Make-Up/Nail-Design Artist, etc.
We encourage everyone in the Newbie Inc. family with training, and experience, to branch out into as many fields as applicable. And, that encouragement comes with the satisfaction of knowing that all work culminates in an annual Awards Festival.

The Rules:
To work at Newbie-TV, in any capacity, you must be at least 18 years old.
*MANDATORY* Health & Wellness Testing:
Newbie’s mandatory Health & Wellness (H.W.) Testing happens on-site, at the Studio’s Medical Facility, at no cost to those being tested – since everyone is being tested for work-related purposes.

Non-Performer Testing:
*Mandatory* testing of NON-Performers, are for those who are not Performers, but will be working directly, or indirectly, with Performers (Such as: Hair & Make-Up Staff; Directors; Producers; Equipment Operators, etc.), and/or those who, due to proximity, and opportunity, could, possibly, come into contact with Performers (Such as: Medical Staff; Kitchen Staff; Administrative Staff, etc.). Mandatory Non-Performer Health & Wellness (H.W.) Testing occurs every thirty (30) days. To ensure seamless coordination with work schedules, each individual’s H.W. Test is scheduled to occur on the same date, every thirty (30) days. I.e. the 15th of each month. The Non-Performer H.W. Test is a twenty (20) minute procedure.
-
STD Testing: blood; urine; swabs = 20 Mins

The Perks:

Kiss LONG-days/nights on Set Goodbye:
Newbie Web-TV Series film/shoot for half the year (6 months: Sep-Feb.; Mar-Aug.), and run seasonally, falling into two categories: Fall/Winter Program (Season Premier/Fall Finale/Winter Premier; Season Finale); Spring/Summer Program (Season Premier/Spring Finale/Summer Premier; Season Finale).
All Newbie Web-TV Shows either film for 6 hours by Day (10a-4p), or film for 6 hours by Evening/Night (5p-11p) Monday-Friday. Weekends at all Newbie Web-TV Studios, are reserved for Studio Rentals/Bookings-by-Staff.
Cast members who are scheduled to work, but have days free from shooting/filming on set, are flagged in the system, so that they may be scheduled for interviews, guest-appearances, photo-shoots, and other promotions, during, only, scheduled work-hours.

Promoted Profiles:
On each individual “Web-TV Show Page” lists thumbnail pictures of each Cast, and Crew, Member, as well as clickable-links to TALENT PROFILES. Talent Profiles for Actors, as well as Directors, Authors/Creators, etc., feature general information, pictures, and a Question/Comment Email Box, to allow fans to email Talent directly. As well, some profiles may choose to feature direct links to their various Social Media Accounts. This way, during Newbie interviews, Talent can just direct viewers to their Newbie Talent Profile for information, or in order to get in touch with them.

*FREE* Studio Space:
There is a Newbie Production Fund which is split into Web-Film, and Web-TV. Each new Web-TV, and Web-FILM, Launch Project, gets submitted online, and sits in a Web-TV, OR Web-FILM, Project Submission Queue, waiting for both the fans, and talent-peers, to “Like” the project. Each project must receive a certain amount of “Likes” in order to be dropped into the Funding Queue. Projects in the Funding Queue are either PENDING, or APPROVED, for funding, on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once a project’s turn in the queue has arrived, and the project is ‘Approved’ for funding, it receives a Project Number, which is needed to book Studio-space.
Newbie Staff/Talent have first priority with regards to studio rentals. This means, so long as the project sits in the Web-TV/Web-FILM Queue, and is intended to be released as a “Newbie” Production – since the studio’s profit cut from each project goes back into the Newbie Production Fund, which benefits everyone – Newbie Staff/Talent will not be charged to rent the studio, and need only book/reserve studio space, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Since all Web-TV projects filmed in Newbie Web-TV Studios will be for/aired on Newbie-TV, if the intended Web-FILM project will NOT be released as a “Newbie” Production – which means it does NOT require Newbie funding, and is NOT currently sitting in the Funding Queue - but will be released as a project which is independent from the Newbie brand, then although they maintain first priority for booking, Newbie Staff/Talent will be charged standard Studio Rental Fees.

*FREE* Private Security:
The skills, and talents, of those who work with us, are the very essence of Newbie. Which is why it is, literally, our business-model to put those talents on display, for the world to see, and enjoy. As such, the physical, and mental, health, and safety, of our Talent is of the utmost importance. So, the same way companies provide vehicles for those in positions which require frequent, local, travel, so too should personal security be provided for those in positions which require public exposure. And, since we are the ones exposing Talent to the public, we – as we should be – are the ones responsible for covering the cost of keeping Talent safe from public threats, at all times.
